Billhead of M. De Young, importer of French, English, and German fancy goods, and manufacturer of shell and horn combs, stocks, and caps. Located at 153 Market Street. This is the earliest known example of a Jewish merchant's illustrated billhead in Philadelphia. The woodcut illustrations depict a cap and two combs. Dated February 8, 1834.
