This ledger, dating from approximately 1870-1899, belonged to B. Milgram of Brooklyn, New York. It documents the accounts of a small business, primarily listing names of clients and the amounts they owed. Most entries are in Hebrew, using a late East European Ashkenazic cursive script, with some Yiddish terms and a few names in English.
