Sutler's Script - M. B. Breitenbach, Jackson, Michigan, March 1, 1866

This document is a partially printed Sutler's Script, issued by M. B. Breitenbach, the sutler for the 12th Michigan Infantry, from Jackson, Michigan, on March 1, 1866. It serves as an order to the U.S. Paymaster to pay M. B. Breitenbach twenty-nine dollars ($29.00), to be deducted from the final pay of Sergeant Hull M. Cross upon his mustering out of the U.S. Army.
