Autograph letter signed by Solomon Etting to Colonel Lewis Farmer. Written in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on December 19, 1790, the letter discusses the financial state of Masonic Lodge 43, noting that it is now in good order. The letter is significant for highlighting the prominent civil position held by a Jewish individual in 1790. The single-page letter includes an integral blank.

Eight-page pamphlet detailing the membership and schedules of Enterprise Lodge No. 228 F & A.M., located in the Doric Room of Mason Hall at 6th Ave. & 23rd Street in New York City. Published in 1895, the lodge was chartered in 1851. The pamphlet lists numerous Jewish members, as well as H.W. Meincke and Cohen, identified as non-paying members.

The invitation is undated, but given that District Grand Lodge No. 3 was instituted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1856, it is likely to be from that period or later.
