This is a rare unbound copy of the Laws of the Fourteenth General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, enacted in 1790. Printed by Thomas Bradford in Philadelphia, this folio-sized book contains 234-317 pages, plus a blank page. The laws include Pennsylvania's ratification of the Bill of Rights and an act establishing a lottery to redeem the mortgage on the Hebrew Congregation's House of Public Worship in Philadelphia. Additional statutes cover the Connecticut Claimants, retirement of colonial debt, and the incorporation of the Carpenters Company of Philadelphia. The book shows signs of wear and has some minor damage. It is not listed in the collections of the American Antiquarian Society, the Rosenbach Museum & Library, or the Singerman Library.
